Thomas from Tifton, Georgia writes
"Like Max, who posted earlier on this 4th of July, 2012, I have verified that John Thomas Clay is my 9th great-grandfather on my maternal side. There is also unconfirmed evidence that he is my 10th great grandfather on my paternal side. Discovering the Order web site adds another reason to celebrate the 4th."

Max from San Antonio, Texas writes
""I have just confirmed that I am a descendant of John Clay - he is my 8th great grandfather on my father's side. I have been accepted to the Jamestowne Society as a result. I have always felt a strong sense of patriotism and it's very heartening to actually know how deep my family's roots are planted in the soil of the United States. Happy Independence Day everyone."
